How do your drivers interact with children?

Our drivers adhere to a strict code of conduct with children, prioritizing safety and respect. They are not permitted to touch any children, except to assist with buckling up the seat belt or car seat when necessary, and only with prior consent through a signed form from the families. Additionally, if a child refuses to buckle up, attempts to touch the driver, or engages in any other inappropriate behavior, the incident will be promptly reported to School Cab management. We will then communicate directly with the family to address the behavior and ensure a safe and respectful environment in our vehicles. Our drivers receive ongoing training in proper communication and behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and secure environment for all passengers.

How are routes determined and communicated?

Routes are carefully planned to ensure efficiency and safety. Our drivers utilize leading navigation tools such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze to navigate and adapt routes as needed. This technology helps in managing real-time traffic conditions, ensuring timely and safe arrivals. Any necessary changes due to traffic or other factors are promptly relayed to the affected families, keeping everyone well-informed and secure.

How do you handle severe weather or unforeseen delays?

School Cab actively monitors weather conditions and other potential disruptions to ensure the safety and punctuality of our services. In the event of severe weather or unexpected delays, we promptly notify parents of any conditions that may affect scheduled services. Parents and/or guardians are responsible for assessing the safety and feasibility of transportation under such conditions and are encouraged to notify School Cab if they decide to cancel or postpone a ride due to safety concerns. While we strive to maintain regular operations, School Cab is not responsible for delays caused by external factors beyond our control.
