Driver Responsibilities

As a School Cab driver, you will be responsible for:

Driver Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable, well-maintained vehicle (must meet School Cab vehicle standards)
Active auto insurance meeting Arizona requirements
Ability to pass background check and fingerprint clearance
Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and punctuality
Comfortable working with children, including those with special needs

As part of our onboarding process, all applicants are required to complete a comprehensive background screening. Safety is our highest priority, and this step is essential to ensure the security of the children and families we serve.

Background Screening Includes:

Social Security Number (SSN) Trace: To verify identity and personal history
National Criminal Search: To identify any criminal history that may impact eligibility
Sex Offender Registry Search: To confirm applicants are not listed on any national or state registries
Global Watchlist Search: To screen against national and international security databases
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): To review driving history, license status, and overall driving record

All screenings must return results that meet School Cab’s safety standards before proceeding.

By submitting your application, you acknowledge and consent to these screening procedures and confirm that all provided information is accurate and complete.

Once all requirements are successfully completed, we will proceed with onboarding and assign you to available routes in your area.
